Against the backdrop of growing economic insecurity, social inequality, and the increasing vulnerability of people across Europe, these events provide an important opportunity to reaffirm that freedom from poverty is inseparable from human dignity, social justice, and the protection of human rights.

Why This Matters
Poverty is not merely an economic challenge. It affects access to housing, healthcare, education, security, and meaningful participation in society. Addressing poverty therefore requires a comprehensive human rights approach.
Our House Centre for Human Rights and Relief welcomes this important initiative and supports efforts to keep poverty eradication, social solidarity, and human dignity at the centre of Europe’s human rights agenda.
